Jessica Bjel graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage in 2006. With over a thousand hours of massage training, including certification in a specialized treatment called Muscle Release Therapy for Repetitive Use Injuries (MRT), she also specializes in trigger point therapy, acupressure relief points, deep tissue therapy, and headache/sinus relief. Clients appreciate her firm & strong yet intuitive touch and her specific knowledge of anatomy. Additionally, Jessica is a Kripalu Yoga Teacher and has trained extensively in Thai Yoga massage, Reiki, Eden Energy Medicine, and as a Certified Health Coach to further her ability to encourage healing on every level. She enjoys a small private practice, offering not only body and energy work, but also an assortment of classes on Eden Energy Medicine, wellness workshops, foam rolling, Kripalu yoga & guided injury therapy stretch routines.
Jessica believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and that massage therapy, energy medicine, and yoga are just a few of the many paths that lead to restoring wellness and wholeness in the body. Jessica is a strong supporter of self-care and teaches classes that provide tools to empower you to participate in your own health & well-being. In addition to her healing work, Jessica has a passion for playing the piano and singing, as well as physical fitness, cooking, baking and decorating cakes, traveling, camping, snowboarding.. Although she most enjoys quality time with her husband, Michael and two year old daughter, Bianca! Jessica enjoys being creative and coming up with spontaneous ideas & innovative solutions, which she is well known for! Her other areas of independent study and interest include organic whole food, plant-based & superfood nutrition, herbs and essential oils, the law of attraction, organization & life pro hacks. |
